Part digital junkie, part design enthusiast. Delighted by good food, great quotes, the ocean and home decor.
I run The Digital Whit, a one woman shop specializing in web design and social media services for small businesses. Over at The Digital Whit, I design, build, and maintain modern WordPress websites for businesses and bloggers. I especially love working with female-led brands and businesses in the home design, health, and wellness industries.
In addition to web design, I provide services for brands’ social media and digital content needs. Think: one-time audits, strategic planning, and ongoing execution. It only made sense to stick with some social media work, since… you know, my entire professional career centered around digital marketing and social media!
In the fall of 2016 my husband and I launched The Pink Zebra Club, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the families of children with critical medical needs and those experiencing recent infant loss.
We created The Pink Zebra Club shortly after the loss of our infant daughter, as a way to recognize and support other families like ours: those with children with critical medical needs, those experiencing long term NICU stays, and those newly bereaved parents that no one asks to be.
I used to dread being asked “what are your hobbies?” It’s a harmless and always well intended question. But what do you say when you have no hobbies? “Um… I go out to eat, and drink at bars with friends, and watch TV.” Sounds like a true champ right there. Or… that’s just the common response of a single gal, lost in her mid-twenties.
A bit older, wiser, and finally in my groove, I don’t mind the question quite as much any more.
